Scott has over 25 years of experience advising and consulting companies across multiple industries including consumer products, retail and financial services on consumer demand, marketing initiatives and organic & acquisition growth strategies. He has developed sell-side transaction marketing materials prospective buyer analysis for clients evolving from quantitative consumer insight research, market and competitor analytics, growth analysis, forecasting modeling and operational benchmarking. His strategic capabilities have allowed Scott to advise major consumer products companies including Nestle, General Mills, Sara Lee, Hershey, Dean Foods, Gillette, Timex, Ridge Tools, Ace Hardware, Gander Mountain, and Sam’s Club, and to assist middle-market-focused investment banking and private equity firms on developing/articulating investment, growth and market opportunities. Prior to joining City Capital Scott was a Principal at strategy consulting firm The Cambridge Group (now owned by Nielsen). Scott is a founding partner of Nexus Advisors and is also a member of the school board for his local public school district.
